100% vintage, varietal and appellation. Produced using the same techniques as the Santa Rita Hills Pinot Noir. This wine shows the classic character of Santa Rita Hills, rich berry aromas and a round, supple texture & flavor. Bottling date August 2008 released in winter '09.
2008 Pinot Noir - La Encantada Vineyard
Aged for 11 months in Alliers & Vosages French oak barrels and bottled in October of 2009. This wine shows the lovely raspberry and blackberry aromas and rich flavors typical of the Santa Rita Hills area.
2009 Pinot Noir - La Encantada Vineyard
The grapes for this wine are harvested from the La Encantada Vineyard in the Santa Rita Hills appellation. The southern western region gives a long cool ripening season to help develop ripe full flavored grapes.
